What is an Occupational Therapist?

And how does it set us apart?

Why use an Occupational Therapist?

An Occupational Therapist has the professional expertise to effectively analyse mobility activity. This means that we are able to give the correct advice to resolve difficulties, attain independence and acquire a better quality of life.

We consider all aspects of a person’s everyday life, including; personal care, mobility, work, household tasks, housing, care needs and hobbies. Moreover, our Occupational Therapists have special training to be able to assess people holistically.

In addition to this, we consider the psychological effects of ill health and disability on both clients and carers. At RKS, we aim to consistently educate and empower our clients.
