Charities and Benevolent funds
“Working with you to provide appropriate support”
Third sector organisations, such as charities, are providing increasing assistance for people to live a more independent and fulfilling life through equipment and adaptations.
Third sector organisations provide a wide range of assistance for those with mobility problems. Together with benevolent funds, charities help to fund equipment and adaptations to ensure everyone can live a fulfilled and independent life.
At RKS, we believe that all equipment provided should be appropriate and safe for use, meet medical needs, and also be cost-effective.
Occupational Therapy assessments
We will complete an Occupational Therapy assessment for all clients to ensure all equipment is fit for purpose. We also ensure our report is carried out in a timely fashion and at a competitive cost. Moreover, our Occupational Therapists will oversee the supply of appropriate equipment and adaptations for clients.
Getting the most out of your charities or benevolent funds
Our service enables charities or benevolent funds to carry out informed decisions. Ultimately, it is vital that charities know how to get the most out of their funding. Existing service users include:
- Care and Repair
- The Charity for Civil Servants
- The NewstrAid Benevolent Fund
- The RAF Benevolent Fund
- The Shipwrecked Mariners Society
- The St Vincent de Paul Society
- WH Smith Benevolent fund.
Help for individuals seeking funding
Following an assessment, our Occupational Therapists will provide a supporting letter. In summary, this letter will detail all recommendations and include a quote for customers seeking charitable funding.
If you wish to seek charitable funding, RKS works with Motability, who may be able to help.
