There is an ever increasing and sometimes confusing array of commercially available equipment for independent living on sale. That is why at RKS we pride ourselves on supplying the right equipment that fits into the living environment and is appropriate and safe. We also consider the most cost effective options for our customers.
We have a show room with a variety of specialist equipment ranging from scooters and wheelchairs to bath aids and smaller equipment such as shoe horns and kettle tippers.
Our highly trained and experienced staff are on hand to assist you in choosing the correct equipment. Occupational therapists are available to help with more complex needs.
We are able to access bespoke equipment such as made to measure high seat chairs, electric riser recliner chairs and electric profiling beds. Pressure care can be considered by our occupational therapists and specific needs can be met. Standard equipment is also readily available.
Within our showroom we have a demonstration Stannah stairlift unit which enables those people thinking of having a stairlift installed to try before they buy. We have access to many makes of stairlift to meet the needs of all clients and to fit most staircases.
We have a range of wheelchairs and electric scooters on show but also have access to many other makes and models. Our Occupational Therapists have many years of experience completing wheelchair and seating assessments and are able to offer valuable advice when choosing the right piece of equipment. Complex needs can be catered for. We are also able to offer a maintenance service for the wheelchairs and scooters.
